Certain characters sent between iPhone will turn off the receivers phone.  So if you have an iPhone be ready for a firmware update.  Read the comments for conspiracy stuff.  BTW the characters are Arabic.

Another reason to have a Droid phone instead of an iphone. 2funny

The 1st one being that I can operate a Droid, because the company we worked for bought us both Droid phones, and I learned how to operate it before I ever bought a smartphone of my own. coolsmiley

Looks like the quick fix is if you get the email and the phone reboots, when it restarts use Siri to read message and delete it. If you try to read it normally, phone will shut off again. Apple is working on an update to resolve the problem.
