Hi, all.  We moved 3 weeks ago but we've been without our Valk.  So a big thanks to Bob & Michele Mallory who stored our Valk for several weeks while we moved and then trailered it up for us.  We finally had her back on Saturday so without much delay we set out for a ride with Bob & Michele, and Greg and Sandy.  Here's some pics of our weekend adventures.

SATURDAY

Saw this odd sight on a back road to Maggie Valley. You never know what you'll see around the next corner up here.

First things First.  After checking to see if anyone had made it to Maggie motel by Saturday afternoon (no), we had lunch at BBQ joint called Butts on the Creek.  Good food but lousy bike parking. Some chick dumped her sport bike in the gravel and scraped the whole side. Sorry, no pics of that and her language was way too colorful for even this board.

Second stop, Blue Ridge Parkway.

SUNDAY

Preparing for a morning ride from the luxurious bike barn.

Nice farm scenery on our way out of town. (there is no bad scenery here)

We had lunch at Pisgah Inn up on the Parkway but sorry, was so hungry that I forgot to take pics. However, here's what we had for dessert...a ride to Looking Glass Falls.

Finally there were some arrivals at Maggie, and lots of talking going on in the BS Patio.

We didn't get to stay long though as a big rain was moving in, which we managed to drive right into. (BillyBoy, Pappy and Leesa rode in just as we left so they made it here safely.)

Todd and I are working today so no riding for us. But the rest of the gang is meeting at Joey's Pancake House for breakfast then heading to Lake Toxaway then Bryson City. Big miles planned for today so hopefully they'll be able to take some pics. Safe rides to all.  And missing our Florida friends.  Come ride with us some time!

Pennie, I thought that first pic was Tod taking some more of your friends up your driveway.  Looked just like last year.  (well almost)
