How hard is to to rebuild clutch slave?
«

I am pretty sure my clutch slave is leaking into the engine. I am loosing clutch fluid, aka dot 4, and engine oil is rising. I bought the spring and several o rings as well as metal replacement washers. I have not started the project yet as the parts have just arrived. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Been awhile since I did my slave but it is not hard.
Mine was leaking fluid below the slave, think it is set up with a tattle tale for fluid to leak instead of going into the engine.
There are 2 seals between the slave cylinder and the crankcase plus the piston seal.
I only changed the piston seal and 1 of the seals and have had problems since.

Well here is my progress so far. I have supported the bike, removed the kickstand and removed the three bolts holding on the clutch sleeve. The clutch sleeve appears to be stuck in there. I can't get it out. What am I doing wrong? Thanks again.
On a little bit of a side note. While I was under the bike I noticed some oil on the bolts-nuts that on the exhaust. Where is that coming from? Would brake fluid in the oil cause it? Will it quit when I change the oil? I have already drained the oil.

I am a little further into it now. I took a lead shot hammer and tapped on the clutch slave harder than I thought I would have to but I got it off. Yeah. Now another question is there a trick to replacing the rubber gasket between the clutch and the clutch slave? I read somewhere it can be difficult?
