I got the throttle tube sanded down so it fits, now just waiting on some new throttle cables ordered from Motion Pro. Might be in by Satuday if you want to get your hands dirty......again.  Grin  Also sanded and repainted the headlight bucket. Sucker shines like a new dime....a black one, but it matches the shiney black on the tank now and no orange peel.  Wink

All right John. I'm glad it's working out for you. I'm working all weekend..price I pay for a long vacation, so probably won't have time to come by but I'll be lending moral support. I knew that bucket would color sand down beautiful. Good job my friend! cooldude

Re. the bucket, I wet sanded it with some 1000 this morning then let it dry real good in the sun for a couple hours. Wiped it down and used a tack cloth before spraying. Two coats and it's smooth as glass. Will let it dry for the next couple days, probably set it out in the sun to bake, then will clear coat it. Now I'm looking for some lights....front and rear. Also trying to form a piece to go in front of the tank where that open space is. Gonna be a challenge on that one, might have to watch a couple evangelists on TV by the time I'm done with that part of the project.  Grin

John, I have the stock tail lamp assy. from Kim's Shadow Spirit if you want it. I put one of the custom "cat's eye" style on her SS750.

Thanks Eddie, I have a super bright cat eye. Forgot I had it in my "stash" box. When it comes to finding parts in my stash, I'm quite organized.....it's in the garage.....somewhere.  Grin
