57% would throw out all the legislators?  Shocked I didn't think that number would be quite so low.  2funny

http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/obama_administration/daily_presidential_tracking_poll

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Sunday shows that 32% of the nation's voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Forty-two percent (42%) Strongly Disapprove. That’s the highest level of Strong Disapproval yet recorded for this President and it gives Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -10 (see trends).

If Americans could vote to keep or replace the entire Congress, 57% would throw out all the legislators and start over again. Just 25% would vote to keep the Congress.

And 80 - 90% of Congressmen will be re-elected, as always.  Polls schmols.

BUt everyone likes "their" legicritters, thats why these folks always get back in.  uglystupid2  They throw cash around in their districts and they are the "good guys", everyone else in congress is bad.

However beautiful the strategy, you should occasionally look at the results.

I guess I'm not everyone. I haven't reelected anyone in years. I've been trying to clean house but can't do it without "everyone's" vote along with mine.

Party doesn't matter, I vote against the incumbutt (<<<<<grammatical error) most times.

It seems I have voted for losers my whole life.  Well, I did vote for Dale Bumpers once but that was a long, long time ago.

It's a problem. I wanted to replace our guy last November, but the challenger was worse that the incumbant!  Cheesy What do you do?  Undecided

Why we dont impose term limits on Congressmen and Senators is beyond me  tickedoff That would keep this country in check better than anything.
