4th of July opportunities

Hello everyone,
Wanted to make you aware of two 4th of July events in the area that are great opportunities to Show your love for God and Country and help make motorcyclists the good guys again.
The first parade will be in Plano
The parade starts in the parking lot of the Plano ISD administration building at 2700 W 15th It will travel west on 15th St., then north on Independence. Then east on Parkhaven ending in the parking lot of Plano Senior High School. This is sponsored by the Lions Club and is well attended. They have graciously
invited us (CMA and all motorcyclists) to participate. This will be the first time bikes have been in this parade. The decision to invite motorcyclists to this parade was made after the Waco incident. I think that says much for the Lions and would enjoy seeing 75 + bikes participate and help put bikers back in a good light. The CMA McKinney and Plano Chapters are selling spaces in the line-up for $10 each bike with ALL proceeds going to the “Run for The Son” ministry. Payable at staging which begins 7AM. Parade starts promptly at 9 AM.
Number two on the patriotic hit list is in the town of Weston.
Located 10 miles north of McKinney at 455 & 543 (staging will be at this corner). Some of you were here last year and we had a good turnout. They have contacted me and would love to have us return this year. This is very casual parade with just about any kind of vehicle involved and a whole lot of fun. There will be a bike judging as well by James Cox of JC’s Cycles and ATVs. Larry Martin (Guardians of Grace Chaplain) will manage the bikes and 4-wheelers for this parade. Staging begins at 9AM with the parade starting promptly at 10 AM.
I want to sincerely thank you each of you for even considering attending either of these parades. I know they can be hot, slow and clutch unfriendly plus take time away from family etc. However, I can’t think of a better way to demonstrate our Passion for God, for America and for our motorbikes and positive motorcycle awareness than to respectfully participate in one or both of these parades.
Blessings,
Woody Stephans
