Maggie Valley is in the low 80's, 20% chance of rain. Tomorrow in the mid 80's and 10% chance of rain. Lower humidity than we are experiencing. Better roads, better scenery, good riding, good pie and good friends to ride with.

From what I understand the State Legislature has introduced a bill making it unlawful to allow hail storms to cross the state line from any direction.

Unfortunately I won't be able to head up that way for at least 9 months. Not to worry though, 9 months from now it will still be snowing up there.

Something else to think about, I wonder where Inzane 16 is going to be. Roll Eyes

Life is like a hot bath. It feels good while you’re in it, but the longer you stay in, the more wrinkled you get.

Terry, at your suggestion, we ate at the Maggie Valley Diner almost every day. We had breakfast, lunch and/or dinner there but the highlight was their cobbler. They had blackberry, peach, strawberry rhubarb and apple. It became an almost nightly ritual for us, with ice cream on top of course. It was also within walking distance!  cooldude
