Anyone go through brake pads yet? OEM are expensive! especially the back ones!

any thoughts on OEM vs. EBC vs Volar?

I bought a set for the F6B just to have them when I need them.  They are more $$ than for the old Valks, but are larger so maybe they'll last longer.

I don't do any of the twisty turny riding that is popular here myself so I buy EBC or whatever.  I've never had a problem with any brand I've purchased other than maybe a noise from off brake rubbing.

I preferred the EBC over stock.   I had the EBC front disc as a replacement for warped stock ones.

I have to agree.  I put EBC on my old I/S and it always sounded like I had a rock stuck in my brakes.  When I finally changed them out to OE brakess, the sound was gone.

Stock rotors, Honda pads.

EBC rotors, EBC pads.

I ordered Lucas brake pads from eBay.de (the best you can get but a little cheaper than Brembo) for around 30 € a piece. Unfortunately I discovered they made a mistake and did deliver two back pads. I had  to buy EBC in emergency, works fine but I'm confident Lucas or Brembos are better. I'll check in 10' miles  Wink
