Hi all
I'm the guy who sold his 2001 Interstate and bought a 2013 FJR.
Didn't like the top heavy feel of this bike. Not comfortable.
Traded it yesterday for a 2014 Valkyrie. Rode home for 10 miles or so
and it feels like a great ride. The weight as all you know is low and the
handling is great. The riding position feels comfortable to me.
looking forward to getting some riding time on her.(no name for her yet)
Color? Choice of black or blue in Canada. I chose blue.
Now I have to find a way to get all the
lawyer stickers off.    Smiley

Took mine off and put them on the tool box cover under the side cover. The quicker you do it the easier it will be. Good luck with the new bike and enjoy  cooldude cooldude

It seems that the red ones are harder to find.  Red has always been my favourite colour on a bike.  I only saw a red one after I bought mine, but now I love my black one.

The only red Valkyrie's I have seen are 2015 models.
Are all colors as fast? Haven't tried mine for acceleration
but there seems to be lots on tap.
My 2001 Valkyrie was a red and black Interstate.
Never let me down.

Black may be the fastest, and red the hottest...

but blue is the BADDEST! cooldude

Dude you're gonna love this bike man...especially if you really get into riding..

Just got back from a relatively short jaunt....50 miles or so....

The power is intoxicating...the sound..wow...and it's uncanny how light the steering and handling is for such a heavy bike...it's actually a very nimble bike that doesn't get blown around in the wind..

and the 5th gear throttle roll ons...holy crap...exciting as hell!

YA love those 5th gear roll ons...............cruseing on 43 north of milwaukee at 70 MPH need to pass a truck  just twist the throttle and HOLD on, even my friend on his 98 1500 on a similar pass flew by me after I pulled back into the right lane, then slowed down and was grinning, said got to 110mph and could not believe how solid it felt and how much more throttle was still left to go...............................LOVE these machines

Yeah I hear ya man...I just turned over 2K on the odometer and the bike just got faster and smoother.... I am beginning to really notice it's power band...I mean the torque and HP are pretty consistent though out the rpm range...but man...once you hit about 70-80 mph it REALLY starts to pull hard...almost like it has a turbo or something...

Switching over the Honda semi-synthetic oil this weekend...and will run it till next year when I switch to full synthetic...I am expecting even more HP when I do!

Ive got over 9000 miles on mine now and unless you are at full gas all the time I am getting over 45 MPG and thats on regular gasoline.   love it all the way down the road.
took a short 110 mile ride yesterday with some friends and it was the first time the Hondas out numbered the Harleys.  We had a 89 1500 Gold wing, a 1998 valkyrie 1500, (2) 2014  valkyries,1 2014 Harley trike, and 1 2009 Harley FLH.         WAS great fun    Have called in reservations for the dragon ride in Sept In Indiana Looking forward to it....... Have fun love the bike!!!!!!!!!
