I just got an email from HDL.  They have factory extended warranties on sale.  $560 for the Wing, a good deal below the usual $800.  I'd think the Valkyrie price would be similar.

I bought my 01 and this 14 because of their reputation for reliability and was not disappointed in the 01 and hope it will be the same with the 14. Besides after experiencing some of the work the dealers do I would not feel comfortable turning my bike over to them. So the extended warranty is a non issue.

If you paid for 3 years you now have a 6 year warranty, the Valk has a standard 3 year warranty.

I got my F6B last Aug. At that time Honda was offering an extra year of warranty and $1000 of Honda accessories. So now I have 7 years of warranty.
