Happy riding everyone!

So, this morning I hopped on to the bike and headed out of my driveway.  As I was making the left turn onto the street I noticed a dragging sound.  Looking down I saw my side stand dragging the ground.  I quickly kicked it in the up position but noticed it fell right back down.

So, back to the garage.  I was able to take an extremely quick look as I needed to get to the office but the spring is still attached.  However there doesn't seem to be anything keeping it in the up position anymore.

Any ideas?  I notice from the parts illustration that it seems to be a fairly simple part.
