Carburator Drain tube size
«

Anyone know the carburetor drain tube size that attaches to the float bowl. I have one hose that needs replaced. Honda sells this tube drain as single part number. 16065-MZ0-000
Assume it might be a metric size.

It's likely a 5mm hose. The closest non-metric hose is 3/16" (hard to find) but a 5/32" is much more common and will fit over the fitting on the carburetor bowl but it's usually made of plain rubber which doesn't hold up to engine heat very well. A source for 5mm non-reinforced hose is here and it's better in the heat and good with gasoline.

Thanks for the info.
I stopped at local Honda dealer. They had fuel grade 3/16 by the length. It was clear blue in color. I don't think it shows that much on the drains so I went with it as I could find no other local source.
I had a lower radiator hose leaking. It was some after market hose with 4 clamps. I ordered the OEM hose with the Interstate cover.
While I was waiting for parts I decided to service the air filter and pull the carburetors to go over all the hoses. I wanted to check and set the pilots and take a look at the jets. Past owner mentioned one carburetor was replaced but I'm not sure why. I watched a You Tube video series by D-RAY. I have never sync the carburetors and was going to D-RAYS method to check them on the bench.
I had a hard time getting the carburetor stack out with the Interstate air shield in place. The video shows the air shield being taken out on a Tour. The Interstate air shield doesn't remove that way.

Unbolt both upper engine hangers. Just leave the key switch on the right one attached and the coils attached to the left one. Swing them down and back to make room to slide the carburetors back-and-out to the right side. The heat shield can be left in place and there's
just
enough room to negotiate the carburetors in and out.

Thanks for the advice. I was looking at the upper engine hangers. I have the bank out now. Will swing the hangers on the install.
