I know this has been discussed adnausem, but Honda does not sell a rebuild kit, so I got a K & L, however I heard these may not work.
Im looking for suggestions, I don't want to spend the money on a new petcock that Honda sells if I can help it, nor do I want to install another valve if possible. i just would like to rebuild it properly if I can.

Thanks

Basically, they do sell a rebuild kit. It's called a "Cover Set". Someone will chime in with the part number.

 thanks guys
the local Honda shop is clueless about this, even thoughhad them go the link.
They are seeing if they can get this and what the contents of the package are.
they'd much rather have me buy a new petcock for $180

It never ceases to amaze me how little a Honda Dealer knows about a Honda Valkyrie. tickedoff
