I have had them on the bike before and I really like the look . I thought by going back to stock pipes I wouldn't have to wear ear plugs anymore. Well I still have to so I'm going back. I won't cut the piggies as I have standard exhaust on my bike. It will change the sound a little deeper without being to annoying. To me anyway.

It's the stacks over the stock mufflers ? I didn't know it made them louder. I think Grumpy is still selling the tips for them if it's something you like.

It doesn't really make them louder as much as changes the tone to a deeper sound. . Do you have Grumpy's contact info/

I think he shut his website down because not enough business to make it worthwhile. I still have his phone # from when I bought the IS in Tampa. I will PM it to you.

Well I got the truck stacks installed today and I must say they look great. I had bought them on Ebay and I received one a week ago Thursday. They said the other one was back ordered and I would receive it on Monday which I did. When the one on Monday arrived it was in I would say Sub Standard quality. I contacted the vender about it. I was really impressed on how they handled the problem. They called me within an hour and talked to me about it. I sent a few pictures and he agreed that it was indeed not good. I asked him if he wanted to send the other one back and he said no just recycle it. He also said that he personally inspected the next one and he would get it right out. I got it on Friday and it was as beautiful as the first one. Last nite when it cooled down a bit I cut the 2" by 9" notches in them and this morning I prepped the pipes and slid them on. It's really quite an easy job and the bike sounds and looks good. Next I think I'm going to get one of those Breakaway throttle locks.

Grumpy's tips are awesome... Terry (Tbird) had some nice looking,
and unusual, tips on the classifieds the other day, they might still
be there...
