Thanks for posting. Common sense tells you that a dirty filter will not filter better than a clean filter!

Won't a dirty one filter too well, i.e, restrict air flow?

I think K&N stakes its performance claims on high flow-through, which implies low filtering quality, then relies on the oil film to trap dirt.
