Well here goes!  Wink there are a few from the pan-handle making plans to travel to NC. We are going to be staying at the Blue Ridge Motorcycle Camp Grounds on 276 South of Waynesville. Nice place to spend a long weekend, leaving on Sept. 12 and heading back home on the 15th. Leaving the Pensacola area w/4 riders at this time, w/3 Valk's and a 1800VTX. Just letting all the Valk brothers know if someone gets a "Wild Hair"..... Grin
Leaving Sept. 12 and hope to make it in 1 day; about 550 miles.  Shocked
We will look for you.

If this is your first trip to the area some of us can probably give you some riding suggestions.  If not you know you are going to a nice area with some great riding.  Hawg Wild BBQ in Brevard on 276 on the right as you approach 280 is pretty good.  I don't particularly like the vinegar based stuff that is common to the N.C. area but if I remember correctly they have several kinds available.

I have been to this area before Thx Thunderbolt, I know that BBQ place. We will leave Milton and get to LeGrange, GA. Then by pass Atlanta on the West. We are to meet this weekend to firm up the route John. It's a 500 + mile trip. I'd like to get there on Sat but might have to stay out after 400 mile ride, Finish Sunday early.  coolsmiley

Shocked not sure about that vinegar bbq but will eat it once while out I'm sure. Counting down the days.  Roll Eyes Looks like 4 of us will be enjoying some cool weather, 3 Valk's and a VTX1800.
