MRTAPPAN, Thanks for the reply. Before committing to the actual hookup of the amber portion of the lights I will certainly take a meter to the circuits involved.The last thing I want is harm the bike in any manner. Your points are well received and appreciated, I haven't thought about reverse polarity, that throws a curve ball at me.
That being said... I absolutely intend to have the amber portion working even if I have to hire someone that specializes in low voltage circuity.
So, if you read the following
notification from the website, they say that the blinkers are low voltage and don't hook them up. So it looks like we would need to employ a relay that triggers on low voltage to provide a full 12v (I don't know what I was thinking saying 5v) to the yellow LEDs.
