7 July I ordered five valve stems from Patchboy.  I got a a notice from UPS that they were on their way.

A couple of weeks later I was on my way to InZane and they hadn't arrived.  After I returned home they still weren't there.  I decided they must have been delivered and someone picked up a free souvenir from my front porch.  I was prepared to write it off.  It was under $20 including shipping costs.

Around the end of August a package arrived.  Inside was the envelope from Patchboy.  It had been ripped open and had a single valve stem inside.  It appeared the original package had been damaged and someone had opened it to get the address from the shipping note inside.

My tenacious wife researched and found the package had been stranded in Brooklyn for almost two months (Can you imagine?).  She contacted Patchboy with the details so they could put in a claim with UPS.  They graciously promised to re-ship the missing four stems.

Today the big brown truck arrived at my house with five (5) brand new valve stems from Patchboy.

Kudos to Patchboy for great (and rapid) customer service!   cooldude

Glad to hear that Patchboy treated you in a respectful manner.

I ordered two (2) 90 degree schrader valves from them about 2 1/2 years ago and was treated like crap. The person on the other end of the line was quite rude and said that it was a waste of time for them to ship such a small quantity. In fact two valves came to just $3.00, but shipping was $9.00.

I can't fault the product, but rudeness should not be tolerated. I will never order from Patchboy again
