Might try it. The weather prognosticators say t-storms later in the afternoon....4:00 and beyond. Depending on how I feel, I can either take country roads and much longer to get there or....use toll roads to within 6 miles. Have to watch the weather I guess.

Yeah, that's the loooong route Jeff Paker took me on to get to the bakery one time. I'm sure at one point I saw a sign that said "Welcome to Alabama."  Grin I'll most likely use the 'pike going up, back roads returning. What time are you guys thinking of for arrival? I always sleep in on Saturdays, just like Monday-Friday.  Wink It's only about a 45 mile run for me using toll roads, about 45-50 minutes.

9:00 AM at the Park sounds good to me. Harley is getting an Oil change and possibly new tires and brake pads, so I'll be on the Trike.

You obviously never met my former wife. That woman's tongue was loose on both ends with ball bearings in the middle. If she and her sister were in the car together you either had to open the window or turn on the a/c. Mostly true!  Grin

Reminds me of an old story, we'll call it about my Aunt Sophie. She had false teeth and would overheat those suckers just talking on the phone. One day she was doing her wash while on the phone, sneezed and blew her teeth out and into the machine. Story goes they chewed up a pair of her best bloomers before she could recover them.  Roll Eyes

Guess it's time to go to the gym.....

Ok my turn:  Sherry's father nick named her princess running mouth in H/S  - TRUE

Also I meet one of Sherry's aunts for the first time about 5 years ago. As I was sitting and just listening I started to laugh hysterically – Room silent and looking at me I said no doubt this is family!

Jerry, that's what I was up against with my former in-laws. My latest great granddaughter is a real cutie, about 2 mo. old now, my son-in-law said it can't be a Schmidt female.....she's too quiet. His wife was one of my four daughters and when they all got together it was bedlam. Most of the men simply left the room. As for the grandson and father of the newbie, rather quiet and reserved which seems to point to the female gender as the "chatty Kathys."

I'll try to be at Boondocks ~11:00.

Well, it's 0430 and I just got home from work, I have been working a whole week of overnights. That said, I might try to make the trip and be at Boondocks at 1100 or so, albeit in the truck... probably.  My bike absolutely hates the Summer heat. We shall see.

Good seeing everyone again but you guys can have this hot weather. Like I told a couple of them, it was 91 when I backed out of the driveway. Pulled back in and checked the weather, said it was also matching humidity giving a heat index approaching 100, went up to 114 later before the rain set in. I don't enjoy riding like that so I also vote for cooler weather. Decided to drive the car and glad I did, I hit some rain on the way home, probably would have felt good on the bike. Hope everyone got home ok, I passed on the bakery....don't need the calories.

Sorry I missed it, just too many projects here. Spent the day doing yard work, and some other stuff. Was real hot here also.

Boondocks is indeed a nice place and Mike managed to get my fat belly and the back of my truck in the same set of pictures with his beautiful Interstate. I am still jealous of the deal he got on that very heavily optioned machine.
