hi friends -is this the correct part number for 98 valk std. 1311CH-pingel---I'm thinking of changing with the next tank removal, no problems so far with OEM but  125000 kilos, however  getting concerned about hydrolock=so ? is - what size fuel line and from petcock to what carburetor OR carburetors do I hook it to ?? is this a single hose connection and is it difficult to hook this into carb's  with out too much trouble [ any hints ]   thank you  all, West '' a great club here ''

Look at the part on line, look at how the present one is connected, it's self explanatory

The 1311CH is the # listed for Pingel in their catalog.

It has been reported that they have both a manual and vacuum model as well as different valve operation.

The manual model they sold years ago [ I think the number is still 1311, its been about 15 years] is an easy replacement but the valve works backwards. In other words, rear pointing is on and front pointing is off. But, as in most things its not a problem once used to it.

I had to replace the OEM petcock on my 89 Shadow and bought the Pingel.  Great product.  If it ever needs replacing on the Fat Girl, it'll be a Pingel--pricey, but a good example of the lesson I learn over and over, that you get what you pay for.
