I Like the looks of Valk's with the extended Pipes. Stretches Bike out. I have looked at the AirFlow Page. Who else sells em? And any tips on what to buy length...ect. Problem you might encounter. New owner  allready making a list of Add ons. to get over Winter.

I got my stacks from a Mack dealer the chrome on them was perfect and the cost about $140.00 out the door for the 38 inch. That was in 1999 so I'm sure the price has changed .Friend of mine went with 40 inch on his and trashed them out in the twisties ( downhill sharp curves ) they would hit the pavement  Shocked

I got my stacks from Air Flow last year and they are top quality.  I think you will find most members would recommend them also.  I believe the pricing is comparable to most truck parts dealers.  Look into the Shop Talk pages for install instructions. One helpful hint on the installation is to use liquid soap on the inside of the cans and pipes to help them slide on easier.

This may be a stupid question. But the only stupid question is the one not asked. I glanced at the Shoptalk diagams of installing these. When I look at my stock exhaust there is a 10 to 12 inch extention tip on the end of exhaust. Why wouldn't it just go there. Weight, Size. won't fit? All I know is when I check out different folks Valkyries on the just pic's. The Glass pack look stands out to my eye's. It's a long bike and it plays on that. Don't want to go to long though.

You can put "tips" on the end if you want but the whole idea behind the stacks is to provide a seamless look ....

I did mine with 16" Glass packs and 36" truck stacks with turn outs. The stacks came from Black Cloud Deisel

Scraped alot of pegs on that bike, but never the pipes. Tried to move the exaust to the interstate when I bought it. And they drug the ground in the corners. So they were put back on this one and sold with it.

Better to be judged by 12, then carried by 6.

If you go too long or ride two-up you can run the risk of dragging the pipes in turns or turning into  and out  of drives where the elevations change.

These are 40's cut back to 39...............haven't touched down in the corners yet, but have on a few inclines such as steep driveways and such. In the second pic you may be able to see that I have added tips  as well, I may just be gunning  for trouble now.  crazy2

The concern I would have too is backing into a parking spot with the rear tire up against the curb .... you may have some issues with the end of pipes (stacks) rubbing/scraping the sidewalk  Undecided
