I recently bought a 2003 Valkyrie trike and I need a good mechanic familiar with Valkyries. I need to have the left rear timing belt heat shield replaced(I have the replacement part). I also need to have a rake kit installed and the clutch and brake fluids changed. Any info on a good mechanic in or near Arkansas would be appreciated.

Sorry, not much help, but how about yourself? Are you capable with help from the forum? None of these items are hard to do for a novice to do, expensive, or very time consuming, and could be done over time.

Service manual is available online.

Oh, and Welcome to the forum.

From looking at the diagram, to replace the heat shield you have to remove the timing belt and gear, not something I would feel comfortable doing. Thanks for you reply.

Can't help. I've done my own work (so far, nothing drastic) but curious where in Arkansas you're located.

D Ray in Judsonia has a good reputation.

I have not used him as I do my own work.

ArkyBubba you are 265 miles away from me. What you are asking for is not a big deal. If you would like to make an appointment just let me know and I will see what I have available .
