I just wondered if anyone has done this install without desmogging first. My bike runs great right now with the PAIR valve in place so I really don't want to change anything. I also have read posts where people have managed to install the cruise control without removing the air box. I'm curious how they managed that although it's a bit late now, I've already pulled the air box. Thanks.

I fitted a CCS100 to my Standard in 2007, and the bike still has the pair valves in place. Never a moments trouble either.

I remember I removed the airbox to get easier access. Not too many hassles in getting back on, just a wiggle or three did it.

Thanks. I'm just installing one on my 98 Tourer. I managed to get the linkage to the throttle all connected and in place so I think that's the worst of it.
