The Great Republic of Texas - Dallas

« on: September 06, 2009, 05:49:06 PM »

The name of the place is Aviano. Very affordable and comes well recommended. it is in Pilot Point. The address is 1340 N. Hwy 377
Pilot Point, TX 76258.

They were not open today to find out if they are open on Labor Day, but they are usually open on Mondays. So, take a chance and either meet there at 11:34am or ride with some other folks leaving the gas pumps at Brookshire's in Celina, ksu 10am.

I will be leaving the parking lot at Love and War in (Plano) Texas, Plano Parkway and 75, at 8:52am if any easterners want to ride with.

If Aviano is closed we will go someplace other. If you get there and it is closed, stick around and we will make a group decision on another place.

Have a great Labor Day! I hope to see some of you tomorrow. ~Jeff

We could pick you up at the Race Track on 380, just west of 75 on the north side of 380, Bob. That would probably work out better for MaryAnn and Chuck too? If we see you there we will pull in. Probably be 9:15ish pulling thru there? ~Jeff

Lori and I will probably meet you in Celina.
Ah yes,  another ride-on to another eat out.
The "cage only" folks don't know what they're missing on this beautiful Labor Day?

The Touchstone clan had a great time with all of you guys and gals today.  The slow service just meant more time to hang out by the lake.  I'm hoping the long ride to get dessert didn't wear you guys out.

Have a great week.

SideCar and the clan

ps Pre-treating the blood stained clothes now.  I guess what they say about motorcycling being dangerous is true.

Sure didn't figure when I got up Labor Day morning that I would get a shot of a biker chick in Harley boots. I hope day care boys dig chicks with scars? Probably not the last pair of biker boots for Shelby.

Sure enjoyed the company!

Thanks to Brenda for suggesting Lantana when the Italian joint was closed and to Stan for the gourmet tire work complete with a swimming pool in the waiting room area for the kids!

Thanks for putting this together and capturing it for posterity, Wanderer!

Pretty good turnout for such short notice...   cooldude
