Hey guys, What should I see and or be looking for when I pull stock petcock out of tank? Im installing a Pingel valve and really don't care for surprises. Want this to go smoothly so I can get new valve on and carbs back in bike and ride Sunday. Any and all help/tips/tricks will be appreciated.

Just loosen the big nut and it will slip right out. There is a filter that may stay in there but easy to see and remove if it does.

Bighead, my damn memory is p*^s poor these days. That is what I was trying to remember. I vaguely remember a post saying something about a part staying in the tank when PC had been removed. Thanks, really wanna ride this thing b4 I have to put her away. Been a lost season!

Yes blackvalkyrie, fuel leak is repaired! I truly made it harder and longer than it had to be. That's my "style". Really was not bad. Worst part was getting each individual carb separated from each other. Galvanic action is a bi^*h! After that it was step by step process with Redeye's rebuild kit(s).
One mirror on and one spare. Just in case I re-visit the land of the double jointed.
