Beautiful east Tennessee ( GOD'S Country )

« on: September 06, 2009, 07:26:36 PM »

I've pulled my Valkyrie out of the garage in better conditions . I was up around 4:00 a.m. this morning still had dry roads then but when it was time to roll out for Rick's ( Flask ) fish fry in Bakersfield , NC it started raining  Sad  I spent about 3 hours yesterday detailing my bike for this ride ( Oh Well ) . I hooked up with Paul , Larry , Lucky 13  and Mean Streak and it rained on us all the way to around Greenville ,  TN . Found Rick and Kristie's cabin out in the middle of nowhere what a great place . The cabin and business belongs to Kristie's father who started his business in a wood shed and has been growing since. I'm not kidding this place is out in the middle of nowhere .

Here's a picture of Rick's Interstate he totaled his green and silver last year on Florida's only curve. I've said it many times Rick's green and silver was the best looking one I've saw ( thought I had a picture from The Fall Color Ride a couple years ago but can't locate it  Undecided  ).

What the ride was all about ...Flask and Lucky 13 cookin' up some fine fish . We had Wahoo from the ocean and Striper from beautiful Norris Lake just up the road from here in east Tennessee.

I'm bad with names and can't remember this lady's or her husband name. They are Rick and Kristie's friends from Florida. She had a sweet Wing with after-market exhaust that sounded great. That's her ol'man's tractor next to it  Wink  Tag says " HER WING " .

See link below for his web address .  I think its cool he started in a wood shed doing this alone and claims business has been getting better every year and has 11 employee's now.Building in this shot is his new building.

Look's like a great time Joe. I don't think I've meet Rick but I did buy those bags off of his wrecked I/S. God has blessed us with some beautiful country. See you at the CBR.

That was a good time Joe. Nice of Rick and Kristie to invite us. Her dad is a nice guy. I didn't know 'til now that he started the business in a woodshed. That's a good success story.  cooldude

Just curious, where in NC is your little hangout? We get up that way from time to time....but probably not this time(year).  Our friends live in the Mill Creek Golf Resort in Franklin, in fact we have about five different couples up there that are trying to convince us to move up there.
