I have a 99 Standard and have the Memphis Shades windshield. I am looking at getting lowers and am wondering what others think of the MS lowers. I have considered the Baker Air Wings but the only time I have seen them is on their website and either the pic does not do them justice or they are just not (attempting to be politically correct) aestetically pleasing to me.

Thanks,

Darren

What are you trying to axhieve?

I have Baker Air Wings & I can direct the air where I want it,

If you are trying to set it up where it will keep water off your legs in a rain storm, then you need to get the pods, crash bars & the radiator module off of a I/State...........

I am simply trying to reduce some of the wind blowing up my nose!! Now that it is getting colder I would also like to be able to push some of the cold air away from me.

For what it's worth, I run them both and If I had a choice of only one, the FUGLY old Bakers would stay. They do a much better job,  YMMV

I have the smoked Memphis lowers with hardware that I am not using.  Email me if you are interested.

BTW, the reason I don't use them is because they don't work well with my lightbar.  Judd I see you have yours angled behind your turn signals.  I put mine in front for awhile but didn't like it.

The problem with Socialists is they eventually run out of other people's money to spend!

Some people are too stupid to realize how ignorant they are.

Yes, I have considered sculpting them a bit to fit around the sigs. May do that yet, some day.

Judd - old thread, I know...but was wondering if you ever did any sculpting? I have a set of the lowers, and the Cobra bars, and looked at carving mine to fit (have the Memphis Fats windshield also). Just wondering...

I like the bakers, if I want it to look better for some reason, one bolt each and five minutes take them off.  Hoser

Darren,

I can't compare the two, but the clear lowers I have eliminate the wind you are experiencing. The ride on my Std. is very quiet.
