Am a 1999 Interstate owner that needs a mechanic in South Carolina.  The issue is a LARGE one.  I have had my "love" since 1999.  No problems till the Alternator went out a few years back (5).  Tried to take it off myself, first mistake.  Broke two bolts off in the engine housing.  Looked at it and decided I needed to pull the engine and take it into a machine shop to drill out (Yep, I also broke off an easy out in her too), second mistake.  In the process of getting her back together, moved from DC to Charleston.  Put her in the trailer and moved her and all of the assorted boxes back.  She then sat until I get posted to another job in Saudi Arabia, which is where I am now.
I need to know if anyone has a recommendation for a mechanic to put this beauty back together while I am here so I can have my baby back.  I have ALL of the parts..and I do mean all of them...kind of went wild taking things off.  Since it has been sitting for so long would need all fluids, carb rebuild, brakes, and anything else that I know would need working on to get her back in running condition.  Main reason for this is when I return I will be retired and putting a LOT of miles on her (Run for the Wall-coast to coast, Insane, and any other runs I can get in.  Hope someone has a good recommendation for this...thanks to the group in advance and will keep you posted on how it goes.
