Since picking up my I/S late last year I have just changed all fluids and have been Riding It Like I Stole It  as the previous owner took good care of her.

This winter when I was going to tear everything down and check and grease shaft and the  cup and put new tires on.

Dunflop E3 tire and I've had to add air every so often but couldn't find a leak. This time it would go flat over night. Got some childrens bubbles from the dollar store and started checking the tires. Tires looked ok they were just cupped a little.

Deep down in the tread there are dry rotted places along the back wall of the tread just a little line and the bottom not quite a 1/16 wide.  This is where the air was escaping.

So even if just standing there looking at them and they look ok you need to get a little closer and look down in the bottom of the tread.

Did you check the manufacturing date on the tire to see how old it is?
