Thankfully this did not happen next weekend when we have the big pizza party going on. Somehow I lost one leg of power to the well pump. Apparently somebody saw fit to run 12 gauge wire to the pump completely ignoring this thing called conduit and it was underneath the concrete driveway as well. I just decided to run 10 gauge wire all the way from the breaker box in the house to the pump, yes in conduit.  OK here's where Don's going to chime in and he will probably give me his title soon. I feel old and I'm sore everywhere.

No worries as the cottage is back to normal and we can have a pizza party.

Hell of a way to spend time off, Jerry. I'm not giving up my title that easily. You need to age a little, first. I get sore just thinking about working that hard. 2funny

Sucks when some ones half assed job comes back to bite some one else. Sorry you ended up the one to do over, digging trenches sucks.

Life is like a hot bath. It feels good while you’re in it, but the longer you stay in, the more wrinkled you get.

Sorta like when my New house was built when I moved down here. I turned the shower on in the Master bedroom for the first shower and flooded out the whole bathroom.

The moron hammered the sheet rock nails right into the cooper pipes then tiled it in uglystupid2

Nick, the moron was the plumber and the plumbing inspector. The plumber is required to put metal plates on face of studs where pipes are, and the inspector is not suppose to sign permit if there not on. There's usually no water pressure on pipes when drywall is hung. You could have gone after the plumber and county for cost of repairs. Not trying to be a know it all just like to see guilty party get credit for the work.  tickedoff   Smiley
