As some of you may know, I retired the first of October. So far, I am loving it, and staying very busy.  Donna and I just purchased a new home about 10 miles north of Prescott, on Williamson Valley Road.  Escrow is set to close the first week of December.  It is a 3 bedroom home with a 38' X 48'  barn on 8 acres of land.  The barn is a prefab metal and wood building with a dirt floor.  I am hoping to be able to cement the floor and turn it into my "man cave".
We will probably spend Christmas in Cypress, Calif and then make the move around the first of the year.
I hope to continue riding with the SoCal group and I am looking forward to riding with the Arizona Group.

Yes, I still plan to make the November ride with thoughts of extending it 2 or 3 days.

John is going to live the retirement dream. I'm happy for him and Donna. Looks like SoCal is going to have to plan a road trip to Prescott in the future.

When we were looking for places to retire, Prescott was high on our list. We really like the area. A good friend lives north of there in Chino Valley. We really like the old down town. Pretty neat. Lots of folk do not know how to properly pronounce the name.

Welcome to my neck of the woods John. I'm down in Peoria as Helen can't stand any type of cold, but you've chosen a beautiful area to retire.

Congrats on the retirement John! I wish you the best! I love Prescott in the summer, have visited there often over the years, and considered moving there myself, but not quite ready for Prescott winters yet. I've always found the folks in Prescott friendly and welcoming, and Whiskey Row on Saturday night is usually jumping with activity. Look forward to seeing you on the Palms to Pines ride. amigo rick

Congrats John, great news. I think I've only been through that area once.

Best of luck to you and the Mrs. with this next chapter and hope the move goes smoothly.
