Great time, good seeing you all, great photos.  Many thanks to Jerry and Sherry.  She has a shiny new amazing fast car.  Love it.

Riding home a crazy woman in a Jeep pulled beside us honking like a flock of geese.  A good friend we haven't seen in many months.  Pull over and BS for 30 minutes.  Back onto 54 and 1 block from the house a GoldWing trike driven by an older British guy was broke down.  Zipped home jumped in the truck and helped rescue him and his wife.  He overheated the rear brakes (guess he does not use the front) and they locked up.  Dozens stopped and offered to help, one driver had a floor jack so we raised the rear wheels and moved it off the main road.  Crystal brought a high speed fan and I set it up cooling the rear rims and brakes.  45 minutes later he could move it and he took off for home (only a short run I guess).  Packed up the fan and went home.  And you might wonder about his wife, their neighbor came by and got her while the brakes cooled.

Today was perfect, met with old friends, made new friends, helped a senior in need (2 extra points cause he is British), got in a fun ride, and got to meet Sherry's wonderful mother.

For those readers in northern states Jerry and Greg wore heated gloves.  Guess they were cold.  uglystupid2

And as a final note, Casey learned how to make Siri moan.    crazy2

Robert, I have to apologize. It's been so long since we first met I didn't recognize you....over three years maybe? Wish you would have rattled my memory a bit, would have liked to chat a bit. I'll have to blame it on age, good excuse as any. Grin  Glad to see you made it out to join us, it's a pretty great bunch of folks....but I'm kinda biased though.  Wink

You have been working on this for awhile then Larue. Very nice machine indeed and of course a steal for you as usual. Not nearly as loud as some other bikes either... Wink

I would like to first thank Jerry and Sherry for hosting this. It was such a relaxing atmosphere and everyone seemed to really enjoy it. There were amazing bikes, pizza was great, drinks were ice cold, and the dogs made it even more friendly. I met a lot of members for the first time and felt comfortable with all of them, and would welcome all of them into my home. Nick you took some really good pictures, maybe you deserve a trophy for these sons of a bitches. Bert brought me a back rest that might add years to my riding, I thank you for that. All in all the day was a 10+ and I look forward to a ride. Thanks again to the 2 that brought everyone together. Nick good job with the Brit (do onto others)

Looks like a great day you all had, nice turnout. I did well in my sale and made a new friend who may join us at Inzane next year, another Valkaholic in the making.
Jack and Larue, nice work guys, guess we know what you do in your spare time now, cant wait to see them in person.
Thanks James for the shout out.
See you all soon, ride safe.

Heck Nick does more good than I do, giving him credit is just fine by me.  The older Brits were a cute couple, well into their 70's and still riding.  Couldn't just ignore their need for help.

It sure was a great day for motorcycling, glad to see everyone in the photos, it is no fun being sick when the weather is perfect.  We were really looking forward to this gathering, the nice thing about this group is the gatherings and the camaraderie a great bunch for sure!  What an awesome surprise from Jack and Larue, very nice bikes, can't wait to see them in person. Thanks to James for the shout out, we were thinking of you and the group throughout the day.
Ride safe, hope to see everyone soon.

Shout out to our hosts Jerry and his wife. Great party. Sorry for the short stay. Great to meet everyone. Was not disappointed. Love all the bikes. Definitely need to meet more and get to know you all personally. Can see why no one likes to run much south of I4. The little tease of the area on 301 I road was quite refreshing from my local area. Little strange not  seeing much of any palm trees. Smiley Little hint of fall with some color change. Refreshing. What a difference only 140 miles can make. The only hint of winter here is temperature change. Stops raining. Can't wait for the next chance to meet again. cooldude

Larue, I apologize for not mentioning your new ride. I missed the caption on that pic, and didn't realize that was yours. It is SWEEEEEET in it's own right. You and Jack had two completely different ideas, and they both came out terrific. Congrats to both of you.

You will. Lots to do to make ourselves permanent around here. Even bought a new Tri-toon that we keep on the river and enjoy a lot.  cooldude

I did finally bring my Indian down from Charleston on Monday. So you'll be seeing that in addition to the Valk. Look forward to seeing you.
