Well, it looks like I might actually be able to make my 2nd VRCC ride-in this year.  I just signed up for CBR yesterday and from the looks of things, I guess I'll be carrying the flag for Pennsylvania.  Cheesy  I can't wait.  cooldude  Also, just FYI...in case anyone is thinking about booking a room, I booked yesterday (9/8/09) and they still had rooms available and they did give me the discounted rate.

Anyways, I was wondering if anyone was putting together any sort of group ride on Friday to the hotel like was done for the Blue-Grey ride.  I'd love to hook up with a bunch of other riders on Friday on the way to the hotel.  I've even been know to go a bit out of my way.  I turned a 170 mile ride to Gettysburg into a nearly 700 mile ride through Wytheville, VA.  Cheesy  So the starting location isn't too important...as long as I can get there in time leaving from my house around 5-6 am.  uglystupid2

So...is anyone getting a group ride to the hotel together?

Check the Ohio Board, usually a group of them rides over together.  Glad you can make it!  cooldude

If you don't hook up with them let me know. I'm easy to find esp if you come thru Ohio on US 30. There will be a few of us riding over around noon or a hair after.

DOC MOOSE........Thanks, I'll check that out.

FUDGIE.....Thanks, but I see you are already in IN.  I don't think I'll be able to make it there by noon.  So I'll probably see you at the Hotel for the buffet.  cooldude

True. I'm a 1/2 hour from the Ohio line. I think it was 500 miles from Chambersburg to my door step. I guess you would have to get up kinda early!  Cheesy The buffet is to die for. Esp the gravey in the mornings!

According to MapQuest, its just shy of 400 miles from my house to Crawfordsville, IN running straight down I-70.

Watch for construction around the west side of Indy. It can be busy.

Brian, who else you got rounded up to go over? Any of the other Ft Wayne or New Haven crew?
