The posts from the last meeting got me thinking about BBQ.  Les is going to be on biz travel, so I'm rounding up folks to talk about their travels, eat some 'que, kick some tires and tell wild stories.  I've reserved the meeting space that RIDER uses for classes on the weekends so we should be able to one up each other comfortably - haha!

Discussion topic will be: winterizing your bike

The meeting will be at 7:00pm 11/12:

Rudy's Country Store & BBQ
9828 Dallas Parkway
Frisco, Texas 75033
972-712-7839

Jackie - what the heck are you doing, posting the meeting location more than 3 days before the event?  You trying to start something?

And, +1.  Jimmy Curtain asked about when and where so I sent him the info as well.  He was our 1st chapter president.

Man, maybe we should impeach the the current President, we could have a much more organized group then!

Winterize the bike? What's that? Don't you just put on a heavier jacket and ride it?

My Interstate is the only motorcycle I have with a heater, a 6 cylinder heater that is.

Thanks for jumping in while Les is on the road!

Pics? Attendees? Subjects discussed? Spring ride-in? Big Bend? Local rides planned? Wrench party planned? BBQ review? Ideas for December's meeting?

Enquiring minds want to know.  Smiley

Ed, Baron, Woody, Timbo, Jackie, Houdini and Brianna were in attendance.

We discussed the need for a wrench party with at least two people needing forks rebuilt.

The chow at Rudy's is always exemplary.

We had a rousing discussion of the need to clean and lube the chain when winterizing our bikes.  Wink  I was unaware that I need to winterize my bike; should I winterize it between ever winter ride?   angel

Thanks Jackie for putting up with our ribbing during your presentation.
