I always wanted to try one and finally completed it today. I left yesterday morning at 0500 am and arrived home this morning at 0230 am. According to my GPS I covered 1806 km or 1122 miles. I went from Home Dartmouth NS to Rimouski New Brunswick and back.
I stopped for gas at the Salmon Pool Irving in Hartland New Brunswick and noticed a Black HD parked outside. I looked the the plate and it was from Texas.  While I was cleaning the bugs off my windshield the owner of the HD walked out and said..A Valkyrie Rider!.

Congrats! And getting to meet two of the nicest folks around while doing a great ride is just a nice bonus too!

congrats. Smiley how was all the paper work?
I have done the miles but never got the whitness or paper work to turn in... I am thinking about doing it just for fun one of these days.
would you recommend doing it? would you do it again? what have you learned from it?

Yeah, those Texans get around.  Good to see Hot Glue and Flamingo Babe still looking good.

I went solo this time but if I did it again another rider equipped with a CB would be good.
Make sure you plan your route carefully and add on extra miles so they don't dispute the minimum distance.
Paperwork is explained on their site.

I was surprised how quick the stop time adds up meals, gas etc.
