I am hoping to be trading my venture for a valkyrie. Its my third venture, and would be my second valkyrie.A guy is interested in trading. The venture has lots of features that make it great for touring. But I really have missed my 98 tourer. My wife can't ride with me so I don't need the venture.Keeping my fingers crossed.I miss this site.I remember some get together gathering of the fools? Still have that?

Yes, the Gathering of the Fools still happens every year.

You didn't need to leave the site when you had a Venture, by the way.  Many former Valkyrie riders still post and read.

I know I didnt have to leave. And I know this sounds corny. But ever since I got rid of mine I hate seeing valkyrie because I miss it so bad.Seeing more hurt makes me regret getting rid of mine more.Other than the fact mine was too fast and I risked getting a ticket every time I rode, I loved it.The venture is a great bike. But I like the valkyrie better.

Hey DM

My son is seriously considering selling his Valk.  03 with 20K miles.  Second owner.  First was Nate Newton of the Cowboys.  Got repoed when he got in trouble and we bought it.  I thought the salesman was pulling our leg but first warranty service pulled his name as the original owner.  Cobra 6x6 pipes with baffles. Kury grips.  Aftermarket locking hard bags, lighted (not Tourer bags).  Lots of other customization, he could probably be talked into leaving "stuff" on the bike.  Right now it has floor boards, 12v connection, clock, temp on the bars, tall shield.  Not a scratch on the bike.  He has ridden 500 miles in the last two years.  That's why he is considering this.  Don't know for sure what he will ask for it but I can talk him into being reasonable.  I would not hesitate to get on that bike and go cross country.  We have replaced the petcock is about all that has been "repaired".  Almost new tires.  Just been sitting in his garage.  If you might be interested PM me and we can discuss.  Bike is in Forney.

Rainmaker is correct when he says there are still some of us former Valk riders that still lurk around!
