Hello all,

I justed wanted to introduce myself and hopefully meet some people in the DFW area to ride with.  My name is Jim Baldwin and I just bought a 2000 Valkyrie Interstate off my father.  He's wanted a GW for years and finally took the plunge.  The bike has 10K miles on it.  I've been riding for almost two years now.  I started out on a 2001 Suzuki Volusia.  My wife is going to ride the Suzuki once she takes the MSF class.

Anyways, I just wanted to say hi.  Here are a few pics of my Valk.

Hope to get to meet some of you soon.

Thanks,
-Jim

Hey Jim!  Welcome! Lots of great folks up around your area. Check out the Texas Forum too. They should be having their meet up dinner anyday...maybe even today. There's a calendar on the Texas Forum. I'm down in the Houston area. Hope to see you on the road soon! Congrats on the bike! Maris QOTFU

Ah, the elusive Blue/Silver combo.  I think that only makes number four in the state that I know of (including mine).  We'll have to get them together for a photo op  (:
I'm also down in Houston, but I know the DFW crowd is very active, and we get together as a state group periodically.  Plan on attending the "meet in the middle" ride, scheduled for October 17, and you'll get to meet a whole lot of folks from across the state.
As Maris said, check out the Texas forum.  We're pretty active over there.

Details are still TBD, but the idea is Centerville, Carlos, Snook, or the like.

We'll announce things as they develop, probably on the Texas board.
