Please need help, I have a 2000 interstate with factory fog lights in the radiator pods, looks to be all OEM, lights are not coming on, the switch is good and have power at the switch, I push the light switch and the relay clicks, I was told there is a inline fuse by the relay and the only one I can find is good, the relay on the bike is a 4prong small square one, so can I get some help? Thanks to all the vets by the way.

Are we sure the bulbs are not both burned out? Sometimes one burns out but the other comes on and so you don't think nothing of it because as you hit the switch things get brighter. Then #2 goes out later and you then notice you don't have either one.

The fog lights are OEM, but have been installed outside of the factory, so they could have been wired anyway someone wanted to wire them.

There is the install manual on the DL page of Dag's site.

Check it out for an idea of where it should be.

The inline fuse is within inches of the relay. Also need to check your 5 amp accessory fuse but I don't think the relay would click if that fuse was blown. There was a post last month where someone was having the same issue. It turned out to be the relay even though the relay was clicking when the switch was operated. Here is a link to the post last month. http://www.valkyrieforum.com/bbs/index.php/topic,81592.0.html

If the relay is bad, it's unobtanium from Honda.

Fortunately...a Pilot PL-RY1 (available everywhere) is a direct swap.

We'll both bulbs are good I was checking the relay and like I said I can hear it clicking but when I checked the voltage I have none coming out of the relay, when I jumped the relay the latest gets come on, now for my next question where can I get this relay, I found numbers off the relay
(Mitsuba rc-2201) and I found some on the Internet for $7.00 up to $75.00 ? Does this sound right and they were for Honda Accord s and Nissan cars, should I just rewire for a normal relay?

Go to AutoZone.

Ask for the part number I mentioned above (Pilot PL-RY1). Last time I bought one, $4.95 plus tax.

Hi, got here a bit too late. A relay can click and not work as you now know. Any 4 or 5 post relay will do the job. $7 sounds about right or go to a scrap yard and get a handful.

As soon as you get your fog  lights working, take a few pics of your "new" bike and share them with us.

The one I listed is a direct plug-in replacement for the Hondaline accessory. Most others are not.
