Took a trip from brooksville to chipley fl, specifically hard labor creek. Took all back roads till we had to jump on i10. Let me tell you, this would make a killer mc trip. That lil town was awesome, great scenary and rds and the people were friendly. We didnt take the versys though, we took the yzf's. https://youtu.be/ACc8R7fTIJA

My guys broke down there once, and I had to go there with a flat bed to pick up one of my trailers. If it's the same place it was between Pensacola & Tallahassee and unless U know some back roads it was all I 10 . crazy2

Yep! Some really nice roads up this way north and south of I-10. cooldude South AL roads and small towns are all friendly and serve up some good food. If/when ya'll put together a ride up this way with your Valk's we will get as many brothers together as possible for a RTE and a meet and greet!  coolsmiley look forward till then!  Roll Eyes come on up!

My grandsons are just getting into dirt bikes now and they have been trying to get me to go with them. I have not been on one of those in a long time, I don't know if they make anything big enough to move my arse down the trail  Grin

Right now they have no trailer and only ride when I can throw the bike in my pick-up and take them around here. They are excited about going up to Croom or somewhere they can really ride. If we had a group to ride with that knew some good places, they may be able to twist my wrist into getting myself a Quad.

I owned one of the fastest bad arse  Quad ever made at one time. They called it Quadzilla, it was a 500cc 2 stroke Suzuki, and I should have never sold it. I fiqured I would have no use for it in FL, boy was I wrong.

This sounds like it's going to cost me some money, but I really want to see them have some fun on these trails, and we all know that is the start of learning how to ride a street ride as well. They are already talking about one day riding street bikes with me  cooldude

So I will do a little searching and see what I can come up with, then will get Jerry's arse on one as well  Grin

As far as I'm concerned, riding in the dirt should be a mandated thing before anyone threw a leg over a street bike. You learn more about dynamics and getting in and out of trouble on a dirt bike. Difference is in the dirt you don't always end up running into a car if you do it wrong. Sad how many folks have never felt or experienced, or practised emergency braking, with either the rear of front wheel locked up. I'm an ex safety office for a HOG group, and it's amazing how many bought a new HD and had no idea of what actually made a motorcycle turn. The word "countersteering" would bring up blank stares. Sad really.

Sorry to hi-jack the thread, but it's kind of on topic.  Embarrassed

I think the money tree needs time to sprout new buds. The new Valk in May and New Ford ST last month and that bling bling 98 1500 Thursday smacked it pretty good!!! Although Nick, it might help the slim down the extra belly deal!   crazy2

I am in the process of acquiring a small warehouse to keep all my equipment. When this happens I will pick up a trailer that will hold at least 3 bikes and a quad. Then I will have the space to store all this stuff.

I will keep u informed, and probably ask your advise on what I should get if I go with a Dirt Bike myself. cooldude
