Well here I am again, seems like I'll never get this bike on the road, a lot of little issues I'm trying to iron out and thanks for all the help, like I said before this is the bike of my dreams and I would like to get it right, on my interstate there are no rear speakers, I've found the plug in the harness and would like to plug and play so I dont have to cut into the harness, I've found a lot of harness for the old gold wings but will they fit on the Valkyrie ?thanks again for the help

Here ya go:

You can get the Hitachi connector (which mates with the rear speaker output plug on the stock Valkyrie harness) from Electrical Connection. A GL1xxx harness could be modified or you can construct one from scratch - it's not that difficult.

I just added rear speakers to my interstate.  I used the wiring that came with the speakers. routed into the lower trunk at the hinges( there is a small gap there where the inner and outer shell meet) and out the bottom with the brake light wiring. I was lucky when I went to the local Honda shop they were able to find a connector and cut it off a scrap harness. most of the 4 wire connectors Honda uses on everything are interchangeable. the one I used came off the handle bar controls from a mangled up quad. only difference is the color of the plastic

I bought a pre made harness for mine about three years ago but cursed if I can remember where from someone here put me on it so someone may chime in with the guy who makes them.

Where does the wire harness connect to? Under the seat by the accessory plugs or up in the fairing by the radio?

Right side cover comes off and you'll find the plug in there, enclosed in a plastic boot.
