Have recently received several "Pal Pal" Emails, all of which turned out to be BOGUS Evil  As a Precaution I checked my acct. history and all of the Supposed transactions were not there.  THe jist of the emails was that a transaction had automatically been frozen for suspicious reasons, and that to cancel it all you have to do is provide all of your bank card  atm pin acct.#  information along with your name and zip code for Identity verification.   uglystupid2  Didn;t do it cause it all smelled funny, and went an checked Actual pay pal site.  Be Careful  theses BS emails linked you to a site that is identical with the Real
PayPal!!!

when you get these e-mails, forward them directly to spoof@ebay.com

they will verify it's a spoof, send you an acknowledgement, and hopefully investigate and catch these a$$holes.

NO

responsible financial institution sends emails with links and will ask you to "login" and provide info, etc about your account for any reason.  PayPal included.  Bookmark the login page for your own usage to check your accounts, change the password if you ever suspect your acct. may have been compromised.

I deleted all those when they came in.  But, I deleted pay pal when Evil Bay used it to try to steel 400 bucks from my credit card.  The card company says EBay through paypal does it on a regular basis.........I deal with neither ebay or paypal anymore period

Yeah, right!  Angry My experience has been that ebay doesn't do anything fast. By the time you get a response from them, the bad guys have changed their sing-on and are "hard at work" stealing other peoples money!

Customer service sucks at both pay-pal and ebay, jmho.  Smiley

I use ebay, but only use money orders.   If I can't use a money order I don't buy.
