I know a lot of members on the main board knew him, some on this board. I had more than a few chuckles with Russ, both via email and the phone. Also in person at our many InZane rallies.  I didn't know he had recent problems, did know he was on oxygen the majority of the time. He'll be missed for sure. RIP old friend, he's a long time VRCC member.

RIP RJ.  I know that he was a tough old Marine and had been through a lot.  I believe Russ had several Purple Heart awards from his service.  He met us in Palatka one year at Corky Bells when it was at the old location on his Green and Cream Tourer before he turned it into a trike.

RIP RJ  angel
I did not personally know him, but did speak with him through the forum, he did frequent the Florida Board and comment on rides and provide his inputs and opinions on various topics throughout the forum, I think he frequented all the State Chapter Boards as he knew everyone and was loved and admired by all that knew him. I still remember all the people stopping in to see him on their way to Spearfish and some even going out of their way to see him.  I do remember that he was a CHP  police  and logged a lot of miles professionally as a CHP then personally after he retired on his Green & Beige (new at the time) Tourer (eventually became MGM and grew to have three wheels), SEMPER FI RJ YOU WILL BE MISSED!
Our thoughts and prayers go out to his immediate family during this time of mourning, the VRCC Family will miss him greatly!
angel  REST IN PEACE RJ, NOW YOU CAN RIDE, RIDE, RIDE, RIDE!  You will be missed!  angel

Sad day.  The main board said he was in the hospital and returned home.  He and I chatted about putting oxygen on MGM, however he had to sell her.  RIP RJ.
