Any of you guys WW2 buffs? I got some of my grandfathers ww2 items but im having a difficult time identifying something in it. If any of yall could lend a hand as to what this is that would be awesome. Also if there are any free masons, i got some unique items of that as well. The last guy i showed them to went to his lodge and asked and i guess they told him they cant speak to him about it and he should stop helping me lol. I cant find diddle on the mason items, one dates back to 1910 or earlier.

Looks like a souvenir your grandfather might have found during the war or during his travels in the Far East. You might try posting it on the main board of the VRCC the coverage is larger.

Not familiar to me, but looks like either a drink holder of some sort with a removable top or possibly it originally held some personal items for when in the field. I'm guessing the clear section in the center was where a sealing strip of some sort had to be removed first.

Well, I can tell you this..
The group of characters on the right.. is simply a warning label that the contents cannot get damp or wet. The remaining text are instructions when opening, it states that after opening, place one of those small absorbent packets (like the ones you find with camera gear, to absorb the moisture) in the can and seal tightly back up.
Other than that there's nothing that indicates what the contents are, where its from, etc., unless there are more markings on the other side of the can or on the ends.. not much else I can offer, my guess is its tea.
