I am wanting to change the windsheild on my 99 I/S and have been looking at the Cee Baileys 2inch shorter then stock and light gray tint. Anyone use this windsheild and how would you rate it. Currently I have stock and look thru the top 1 - 2 inches of the shield and think 2 in. lower would help. Undecided

I have a Cee  dark tint 4 inch shorter than stock, the quality is great. 4 inch cut down looks cool and is great when hot but does not give you a lot of protection from rain or when cooler... I Also have a stock one I cut down 2 inches and it gave me the visibility I was looking for. I had the exact same issue you had, and the 2 inches was perfect not only for visibility, but it set the wind flow to go directly at the top of my helmet, which helped on hotter days as it helped helmet air circulation.

I have the Cee Balieys 2" shorter with the smoke here is a pic I like it but it does not of course provide the protection of the standard shield but I do like it...  When winter gets here I will probably switch back to the standard.
