My friend just bought a 98 Tourer and is having a problem getting the damn OEM radiator cap back on after changing the anti-free coolant and he was wondering is there a rad. cap off of a small jap. car or truck that might inter-change with the stock OEM Rad. Cap .... Thnks the Geezer  crazy2

Is the set screw backed out?? If it is and still no go there is a list of generic parts in the archives. Reason I ask about the set screw is that the STOCK radiator cap has set screw. RIDE SAFE.

Richard, shot in the dark, but you might find an answer in this thread, either by adjusting the tabs, or looking for a matching cap for a Honda Accord.

Yes Sir , after messing around with the cap , I was able to adjust the the tabs to make sure they fit and match up with the slots and seat to make a good seal to get him back home to Kerrville .... Thanks Guy's for your help & input .... Thanks the Geezer   crazy2

My question is , has any one used another Radiator Cap from a car and have good luck  ??  I replaced my OEM with the Show Chrome Rad. Cap and have never had a problem taking it off or putting it back on ...
