I find this disturbing! CBS 60 MINUTES documentary on the swine flu epidemic of 1976 in the U.S. It went on air only once and was never shown again.

There is definitely a fine line to walk... This strain doesn't seem to be too bad, but the 1918 outbreak of H1N1 killed between 3% - 6% of everyone on earth..... I know several people that have had it this time, and it was no big deal... I know I won't be getting the vaccine this time around, it's too late anyway, it's already here among us... |

the most moderate news reports i can find on this one say that it's not particularly deadly provided you take care of yourself, but that it IS particularly contagious. that's why it had such an awful effect when it first broke out in mexico: people thought it was just a little cold and tried to keep on keepin' on in spite of it. so, if you get it, STAY HOME and KEEP YOUR GERMS TO YOURSELF!  |

Just found out yesterday my son has this up at college. He's at Texas A@M right now but is supposed to be a groomsman in my daughter wedding next Saturday. If he knows what is good for him he better be healed by then.  |

HEY GUYS I FIND THIS VERY INTERESTING BECAUSE I TOOK THAT STUPID SHOT THAT WAS DESIGNED TO PROTECT ME AND GUESS WHAT !!!! I WOKE UP UP PARALYZED FROM THE NECK DOWN FRIDAY MORNING AFTER THANKSGIVING ... AND THOSE STUPID DOCTORS IN THE ER WERE CONVINCED THAT THIS WAS ALL PSCHOSYMATIC .... ALL IN MY HEAD .... THOSE DOCTORS COULD NOT FIGURE OUT WHAT THE HELL WAS WRONG WITH ME , SO IN THEIR VERY EXPERT OPINION THEY SENT ME TO THE HOUSE SHRINK TO ASK ME ALL SORTS OF STUPID , BULLSHIT PERSONAL QUESTIONS LEADING UP TO MAYBE I HAVE SOME PENT UP EMOTIONAL PROBLEMS .... IF OUR WESTERN DOCTORS CAN'T FIGURE SOMETHING OUT THEN THEY GO FOR YOUR HEAD ..... THATS WHERE THE PROBLEM IS ..... I WENT THRU THIS PARALYZED CONDITION FOR TWO WEEKS AND I WAS ONE OF THE LUCKY GUYS BECAUSE IF YOU HAVE MET ME I'M WALKING AND TALKING AND RIDING MY VALKYRIE NO THANKS TO THE BELOVED GOVERNMENT ..... THE ONE THING THAT STILL HAUNTS ME TO THIS DAY IS .... NOBODY COULD ASSURE ME THAT I WOULD NOT HAVE A RELAPSE AND WAKE UP LIKE A HOT DOG AGAIN ..... I COULD NOT EVEN SCRATCH MY NOSE MAN .... I HAD TO BE PROPPED UP LIKE A STORE DUMMY BECAUSE I HAD NO CONTROL .... GUYS IT IS A VERY SCARY FEELING NOT TO BE ABLE TO MOVE AT ALL AND LUCKILY I DID NOT HAVE TO BE PUT INTO ONE OF THOS IRON LUNGS TO HELP ME BREATH .... REAL LUCKY .. SO MUCH FOR OUR PROTECTING GOVERNMENT HEALTH AGENCIES .... WHO IS LOOKING OUT FOR WHO ?.. I HAD BEEN TOLD THAT ONE IN 750,000 WOULD HAVE A REACTION , WELL WAKING UP LIKE A HOT DOG I WOULD SAY IS A SEVERE REACTION AND THEY THOUGHT I WAS CRAZY !!! BECAUSE I HAD THE DOCTORS STYMIED AND STUMPED .... I'LL NEVER TAKE ANOTHER SHOT BY OUR GOV'T EVER AGAIN .... I'LL TAKE MY CHANCES .... AND BY THE WAY THAT BIG FLU EPIDEMIC IN EARLY 1900'S WAS THE BIRD FLU MY FRIENDS , THEY JUST DON'T ADD THE WORD BIRD JUST FLU ..... GOV'T BS AGAIN AND AGAIN .... THANKS OLD GEEZER RICHARD IS STILL RIDING AT 61 YRS YOUNG   |

I'm not sure if I ever took a flu shot as a child. I am sure that I've never had one as an adult - and don't plan to, either. I certainly won't be taking the swine flu shot.

Mary and I never took any flu shots until we moved to Dallas; two seasons after starting the shots Mary started showing symptoms of MS. Coincidence? Maybe...
A good friend of ours has twins. Less than a week after getting their immunizations one of the boys began to withdrawal and stopped talking. He is now autistic and the parents swear it was caused by the shots.
I, and no one in my family, will ever take a flu shot again.

Hey Dave in Frisco , dealing with the gov't reminds me of those famous words " Trust Me " .... don't get me wrong folks I love my country but some of the shady stuff the gov't does never ceases to amaze me .... I look at it this way when dealing with people or gov't's ........ it not what you say , its what you don't say ..... nuff said !

If it is a capsule – Is it 100% vegetable fiber? Rather than gelatin made from animal hooves) liquid is the best. I use Carlson labs brand. |
