Pretty cool  cooldude I have a couple questions. This looks to be a catalog for European, Australian, and Canadian 2002 models. If that is correct, was there 3 different variants of them ? It lists CD1, a CD2, and a CD3. It looks like the 2's and 3's only went to Canada and Australia. Do you know what the differences are ?

Pretty cool! I really like the 'WINKER' section Wink! As far as the turn signals are concerned, looks like it is for a later model Valk (2000 on). Good information, thanks.

I can only tell you the differences I am aware of between Canadian and American (49 state) 1500 Valkyries:
Speedometers
Stickers and warnings (I think including those embossed on parts, e.g. brake fluid caps) - bilingual in Canada and VIN stickers indicate compliance with Canadian regulations.
Possibly colour availability differences depending on model year.
Operator's manuals.

Thanks GR. It looks like the 2002 euro and Canada models were only available in black and the blue and white stripe.(same as USA) it's curious that would be differences between the euros and Canadian models. It's probably just in the stickers like you were saying about the differences with USA.

There are a lot of different export variants.
I copied this list from a dealer, some time ago. Gives you an idea.
Has to do with emission control and local MOT regulations.
Some export variants have smaller carb (78) jets, two sidestand springs and more minor differences.
The list doesn't have headers but it's pretty self explanatory

Hi Beer, that doc is password protected. Any chance of reposting it unprotected ?  I don't know why but this is interesting to me. What's the purpose of 2 springs on the kickstand ? Just insurance if one breaks ? Thanks

Sorry about that link.
Let's try this one  http://www.pdf-archive.com/2015/12/11/gl1500c-id-s/gl1500c-id-s.pdf
Could be, that you have to scroll down the page where it says download PDF file.
Right. The small spring is a safety feature, that is mandatory in some places abroad.
