Paid for by my resident bed warmer.  Wink  A new front tire for the bike, the one on there now is 7yrs. old and cracking in the valleys of the tread. The new one is the same tire, Metzeler ME 880 Marathon, bias ply. The current tire has a little over 15k miles on it and has given good service, especially with the c/t in back. I'll most likely pull the rear end down and replace the c/t at the same time I do the front. It has plenty of miles left on it but is also getting up in years. Got the new front tire from Jake Wilson for $135 with free shipping. And, even though it will be here this coming week, Rita wants to lay it down and put a piece of plywood over it, then the Christmas tree on that. Even though I know what it is, that will keep it out of my hands until after Dec. 25. I feel that's totally unwarranted cruel and unusual punishment, which I'm sure the men will agree with and the women won't.  Roll Eyes

I am not so sure it is "unwarranted" or "unusual" but definitely "cruel", good choice on the Metz though it may forever be a  pine air freshener as well.  cooldude

Fedex just delivered my Christmas present. So the first words to me were "I don't want that ugly thing in the house." Sheesh!  I guess beauty is still in the eye of the beholder.  Undecided  Has a mfg. date of 4913 so it's two years old, guess I'll keep it.
