Anywhere from 25 to 40 mpg. Depending on conditions and speed. I usually average about 32.

Usually 33, tried the ethanol free gas 5-6 fill ups and then premium 5-6 fill ups and got the same mpg.

Usually a constant fourty. That's if the Valk is not racing. It has a tendency to chase it's shadow. With proper tuning and sensable driving l have hit 43.

Got 40 the other day, on back roads, after the B12 treatment. Also cleaned up my idle nicely. That's on a trike...

For the calendar year so far I have averaged 34.09 mpg. I have 6 degree trigger wheel and run 91 octane ethanol free gas. Best 39.25 on a still day and not playing with it.

27 to 30. It runs a bit rich, but it runs so well I'm loathe to mess with it.

If I'm not having too much fun I get around 36-38 (that's miles per 4 L, roughly 1 US Gal). Fred.

My 98 Tourer gets mid 30's and twice has hit 40. I had to ride it several years before I figured out what a smooth throttle control really means. Be aware of higher speed and heavy winds your tank will go dry in less than 100 miles. Running 80 mph in N.Mexico into a strong wind I ran out of gas luckily for me only 1 mile from a gas station.

32 - When enjoying a leisurely ride here in Indy. However, I have gotten as low as 27 when I pushed it. The main thing is just enjoy the ride.

I got 35 on my last tank. Would love to get 40. Been trying to keep it under 3000 rpm-- very tough. Mine is stock, as far as I know. Just did the de-smog, which is not supposed to help fuel mileage, and installed new OEM air filter. I use Sea Foam on occasion and have run a full can of B-12 in a single tank of gas thru it. 98 Tourer.

'99 CA-model Tourer. I/S carb springs, ICM. #38 slow jets, Cobra adjustable jet needles. Smog plumbing intact; no other engine or exhaust mods. Bike has a Memphis Shades Batwing and I/S trunk installed, along with an I/S tank. With 400lbs of rider and passenger aboard I routinely see 43MPG at 75MPH when ridden into calm winds. More than adequate passing power when running two-up. '01 49-state I/S. #38 slow jets, Dynojet adjustable needles. No other engine or exhaust mods. Bike has been SuperValked and is usually ridden without the trunk. With 400lbs of rider and passenger aboard I'm lucky to get 30MPG when riding the bike at the speed it likes to run (75-85MPH). Back seat dyno comments are that it pulls MUCH harder than the Tourer. It's lifted the front tire in all five gears when accelerated hard on the open highway. As always, YMMV - depending on how much bail money you have available.

98 tourer stock pipes k and n filter 27 to 28 Would love to get around 40 find it hard to believe it varies that much. I hit reserve around 125-130 and thanks with the tank filled almost to the inlet just shy of dripping out. Mine varies based on my right wrist. As Brittman said I didn't realize these things worked under 3,000 rpm
Having attic rat do his performance mods as we speak. He had gotten some modest improvements after the mods so will have to wait and see. I'd be happy with 30mpg and ecstatic with 35. I think the only way I would ever get 40 was to cruise at 50 mph for a whole tank.

Yes, the only time I got 40 was riding around Yosemite. Mostly 35-50 mph. Haven't done it since.

I get the same numbers here on my I/S. Usually don't pay attention to the Std...wife's ride. She doesn't keep track of that stuff.

I've gotten 32-33 typically. Maybe this year (2nd year on a Valk) I will slow down a little and be able to push that up some.

Texas has raised their limits to 70-75 in so many places that I tend to set my cruise at 80 knowing the speedo is off. At 3500 to 3800 RPM bike runs good. I checked my MPG to Inzane last year and it was 32-33 the first few tanks then I quit caring. I know if I drop to 3000 I get around 40. I try real hard to keep the rpm under 4K just because I know it will suck the tank dry on my 99 IS.

Never got close to 40 at any speed ride it like you stole it I don't think anyone ever bought a Phatgirl looking for MPG's at least I didn't. That as the furthest thing from my mind

Lowest was 32, highest 40, but 90% of the time averages 35-36 mpg on my 2001 Valk I/S.
Mid 30's seem pretty common give or take a few.
I don't believe the new Wings/F6b's/new Valks see much over 40 avg mpg either dealing still with 6 cylinders, although fuel injected now.
That being said, my former 1984 Honda 698cc 4 cylinder Magna only got around 38-40 avg mpg and I was some 90lbs. lighter back then some 20 years ago.
I don't think that is horrible mpg, but is not good either but surely can live with it even though our 4 cylinder hyundai sonata gets a tad bit better mpg doing 60-65 mph at near 38 avg mpg.

Solo riding. Bike is a standard, no bags. Work and back plus a bit of back roads riding....40+mpg. Interstates at around 80....around 30mpg, maybe a touch less.

Just installed a 4 degree trigger wheel on my 98 std, used 89 octane and ran at 70 mph and got 42mpg. Before the trigger wheel between 35 to 38mpg depending on how it was ridden.

On all three of my Valks I get at least 42 mpg when ridden in a normal manner
I have gotten a low of 20 mpg on my Interstate while riding in the mountains at well above the posted speed limits though.
