I was able to string together 4 hours of free time late this afternoon and told my Better Half I wanted to go for a ride. She didn't want to go but sent me off with a smile. It's about 45 miles to the Cape and the weather was great. A friend of mine was playing Santa for one of the local lawyers who takes care of bikers in the area.
There were three other Valks there. cooldude A 98 cream and purple that had a for sale sign on it, another with a long set of truck stacks and all were getting comments about how good they looked. A few people were lamenting the fact that mother Honda had stopped making them. Cry
Any of our guys over there tonight?

Glad you got the chance to catch some wind Jeff, we had a group of 3 HD riders come in to stumpknockers today and while it was just Tony and myself both with blue/slvr I/S one guy commented about Honda should have never stopped making them, we agreed of course, they started walking away and turned to say but the new Valk just didn't do it for them, don't tell Jerry but I agreed with them, sometimes its easier to agree..lol
A purple for sale huh, I don't have one of those..hmmm

Did the lawyer sit in his lap?  What did he want for Christmas?   2funny

Hey Jeff my buddy Trick Rick usually goes to the show down there. He was probably riding a cool custom Guzzi.

Nick there was one really radical Guzzi that was stretched with a wild looking custom frame. Running gear and motor was from an older bike.

Jess I didn't see anyone on Santa's lap. Just standing along side him for photo op.

Yep that's the one, he also has a few Valks. One of them he uses for shows and events. The Tank looks like a Volcano and it shoots flames out of the exhaust.

Flsix should have text me. I was there walked the length of the strip and back. Place was so crowded most bikes were parked on side streets and parking lots. I had to park at west end last bike at brakade. Saw one valk near Dixie Road House. No one around bike. Would have liked to meet you. Smiley Run total of about 230-240 miles yesterday. Went out to Cleweston and back for lunch. Still want to meet for lunch or something. Give me a shout.

The purple was Lesa's first color choice. That color really pops in the sun. They are hard to find.

Nick I've seen his volcano bike a few times. It's defiantly different.

Tallrider it was a spur of the moment ride as soon as I got home from work. I wish I were available for the lunch ride, it was a beautiful day.

Here is one of Ricks burnouts, I have known that crazy guy for a while.  He used to frequent the board, but haven't seen him post in a long time.

Back in the day when there were not many members up this way I would go down to FT Myers and Cape Coral area and meet up with Rick. I talk to him all the time on FB.

Hey Bill, search your memory banks a Trick RIck should pop back into your brain. He went by that name, and was fairly active for a while on the board, even after I found this bunch of misfits. He always used to talk about bike shows and burn-outs down in the Naples area. TJ may remember him.
